The Hülbe am Märtelesberg is located on the Albuch about 3.5 km northeast of Böhmenkirch . With just under 0.2  hectares, it is the smallest nature reserve in Baden-Württemberg.

location

The nature reserve is located in the Steinheim am Albuch district in the Heidenheim district, in the Albuch and Härtsfeld natural area and geologically in the Middle Upper Jura .

Landscape character

The protected area only comprises a moored cave surrounded by forest areas.

Flora and fauna

The Hülbe on the Märtelesberg is moored and houses a cryptogam flora that is rather untypical for the Swabian Alb. The swamp blood-eye and the fever clover also occur here .

Contiguous protected areas

The nature reserve is part of the FFH area Albuchwiesen .
