Hüseyinler is a place in the district of Silifke in the Turkish province of Mersin . Until 2012, Hüseyinler was a village with 572 inhabitants at last and then became part of the district town of Silifke after a regional reform . The place is about 20 kilometers northeast of Silifke and 60 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital Mersin . It is located on the road east of the Şeytan Deresi valley from Kızkalesi on the Mediterranean coast, the ancient Korykos , into the mountainous interior to Cambazlı and on to Uzuncaburç , the old Olba . You pass the ancient settlement of Hıdırlı and the towers of Sarayın and Gömeç in the east and the tower of Gücük in the west and the rock reliefs of Adamkayalar in the steep walls of the valley .

In the village area, individual sarcophagi from Roman and early Byzantine times have been preserved, the residents still use Roman cisterns under or near the houses. Traces of ancient settlements as well as graves, milestones, round altars and chamosoria can be seen in the area on both sides of the road .
