Haag is a church village in the municipality of Hemau in the district of Regensburg in Bavaria . Until 1978 it was the seat of the municipality of the same name .

history

The Catholic branch church of St. Nicholas from 1699 is essentially Romanesque. The political municipality of Haag came into being with the Bavarian municipal edict of 1818 and included the towns of Haag, Eiersdorf, Eselburg, Friesenhof, Friesenmühle, Gleislmühle, Klapfenberg, Mausermühle, Pföring, Schaafhof, Schneckenhof, Wangsaß and Wollmannsdorf. On May 1, 1978, Haag and other parts of the community were incorporated into Hemau. Eselburg came to Laaber , Friesenhof, Friesenmühle, Gleislmühle, Mausermühle and Schaafhof zu Beratzhausen .
