The port of Würzburg is a three-part port on the Main in Würzburg .
The harbor Wuerzburg is located between Main kilometers 245.90 and 253.03 right and consists of three parts: Old Port (km 250.9), New Haven (km 247.9; opened in December 1937, on October 1, 1940 officially put into operation taken) and river port . It is part of the largest industrial park in Würzburg and is operated by Würzburger Hafen GmbH . The transhipment bank length of all quays together is over 2700 m. A total of eleven port cranes are available. The port is connected to the rail network of Deutsche Bahn , which operates an important hub in Würzburg.
In 2013, the port of Würzburg had 251,260 t of ship freight traffic, a share of 3.24% of shipping goods traffic in Bavaria, which in 2013 was 7,742,816 t in total.
