Hajo Schomerus

Hajo Schomerus (born March 25, 1970 in Hanover ) is a German cameraman and director.

Life

Hajo Schomerus studied film and television cameras at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences . Practical semester at the Anthology Film Archives , New York , with Jonas Mekas , semester abroad at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune , India. His graduation film Ich und das Universum was awarded the German Film Critics' Prize for “Best Short Film”, the Jameson Award and the Prix ​​UIP in Sarajevo , and was nominated for the European Film Prize .

Hajo Schomerus has worked as a cameraman in numerous cinema and television productions. Which includes both cinema and television documentaries as well as television series. The cinema documentary There are many apartments in my father's house , released in 2010, is his first full-length film as a director.
