Hakan Kutucuoğlu (born September 25, 1961 in Izmir ) is a former Turkish football player and coach.

Player career

society

Kutucuoğlu went through the youth department of the first division club Altay Izmir . During the 1980/81 season he was accepted into the professional squad and completed two league games by the end of the season. At this time, his club experienced an important generation change. The generation with players like Mustafa Denizli , Nevruz Şerif , Şeref İncirmen , who had brought the club a successful time over the past decade, gradually left the club and was first supplemented and then gradually replaced by young players like Kutucuoğlu. In the same season he was also used in the reserve team of the club and was able to get the Gençlik Ve Spor Bakanlığı Kupası (German Cup of the Ministry of Youth and Sports ) with this . In the course of his second season with the professionals Kutucuoğlu captured a regular place. As a result, he was first Turkish U-21 and a little later A national player in the 1982/83 season . Since his club had missed relegation in the summer of 1983, Kutucuoğlu kept his home club loyal and went with this in the 2nd Futbol Ligi . In this league he finished with his team the first season as champions and achieved immediate promotion.

After the rise with Altay he left his hometown and hired the Istanbul first division side Sarıyer GK . At this club he quickly became part of the regular formation and kept this position in his three years of activity. In the 1985/86 season he was one of the squad that ended the season in 4th place in the table and thus achieved the best first division placement in the club's history.

In the summer of 1987 he returned to his hometown Izmir and began to play for the first division club Karşıyaka SK . After just one season he left Izmir again and moved to Eskişehirspor within the 1st Lig . At this club he stayed only one season and then returned to Karşıyaka. At this club, in contrast to his first season, he was more of a reservist. After he had started the 1990/91 season at this club, he moved in October 1990 to city rivals and second division Altay Izmir, Kutucuoğlu's first club. With this he succeeded in the second division championship of the 1990/91 season and thus promotion to the 1st Lig.

With Altay promoted to the first division, Kutucuoğlu only stayed three months in the team and moved to the second division Ispartaspor in November 1991 . At this club he stayed only about a year and moved in October 1991 to third division club TKİ Soma Linyitspor . With this club he was play-off winner of the third division season 1993/94 and thus rose to the 2nd Futbol Ligi. He also left this club the next October and moved to third division Selçuk Efesspor .

After Kutucuoğlu had worked for Efesspor until the spring of 1996, he moved to the amateur club Altınordu Izmir , played here until the next summer and then ended his career.

National team

Kutucuoğlu's international career began in 1982 with a commitment for the Turkish U-21 national team .

As part of an EM1984 qualifier against the Albanian national team , Kutucuoğlu was nominated for the first time in the squad of the Turkish national team in the autumn of 1982 national coach Coşkun Özarı . In this game he made his international debut. By the summer of 1983 Talu had been nominated seven more times and played six more international matches.

Coaching career

Kutucuoğlu started his coaching career at Karşıyaka SK in 1997 as an assistant coach. He then worked in this role at Boluspor and Sakaryaspor . In the 2007/08 season he was head coach of the local amateur club Izmir Şirinyerspor . For the season he was hired as head coaching duo with his long-time teammate Hayrettin Demirbaş at the amateur club Yeni Bornovaspor .
