society

Deringör was born in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul , the hometown of Fenerbahçe Istanbul , and started playing football at the age of 10. In 1938 he was brought to the Fenerbahçes youth department. It was not until 1941 that Deringör was accepted into the professional squad. A decisive factor for this late promotion was also the fact that a law was passed at that time that prohibited the club from using students in their A-team. After Deringör had remained without a competitive game in the 1941/42 season, he gave in the 1942/43 season on September 13, 1942 in the game of the İstanbul Ligi (German Istanbul League ) against Süleymaniye Sirkeci SK for use and made his professional debut. Since there was no national professional league in Turkey at that time, regional leagues existed instead in metropolitan areas such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir , of which İstanbul Ligi (also called İstanbul Futbol Ligi) was considered the most renowned. Deringör completed nine other league appearances and scored six goals. His club ended the season with five points, far behind arch rivals Beşiktaş Istanbul as runner-up. In addition, from March 1943, he and his team took part in Maarif Mükafatı , a kind of tournament designed and irregularly held national championship in which the teams from the three cities of Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir participated. In this tournament, Deringör was used in 13 of a possible 14 games, scored three goals and won the tournament with his team.

Subsequently, Deringör was an integral part of the team until the early 1950s. In the spring of 1952 the İstanbul Futbol Ligi was dissolved and transferred to a professional league system. From now on there are the İstanbul Profesyonel Ligi (German: Istanbul Professional League ) and the second highest division, the İstanbul İkinci Küme (German: Second Istanbul League ). Fenerbahçe played in the Istanbul professional league. Deringör was considering ending his career at the time. But since the club management wanted to carry out a revision in the squad with players from their own reserve and junior teams and needed some experienced management players, they kept his long-term colleagues Fikret Kırcan , Müzdat Yetkiner and Mehmet Ali Has in the squad in addition to Deringör . Deringör only played one season in this team and only played one league game in this. After this season he ended his career at the age of 30.

Since a large part of his active football playing career had fallen into the time of the Second World War , no international matches were played for eleven years and Kırcan could not begin his national team career until 1948.

With the Turkish selection Deringör took part in the Olympic Summer Games in 1948 , but remained without use during the tournament.
