Hamza Yerlikaya (born June 3, 1976 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish wrestler and politician.

Yerlikaya twice won Olympic gold in Greco-Roman wrestling: 1996 in Atlanta , 2000 in Sydney . He finished fourth at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens . Yerlikaya was also world champion in 1993, 1995 and 2005 and European champion in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2006. In the World Wrestling Championships in 1997 he won silver and at the 2006 World Wrestling Championships bronze.

Yerlikaya was voted Best Wrestler of 2005. In September 2009 he was inducted into the FILA International Wrestling Hall of Fame for his services to wrestling .

In 1993 and 2000 he received the Sedat Simavi Prize for Sport.

Between 2007 and 2011 he was deputy of the Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi (Party for Justice and Recovery (Development)).
