Alan Anatolyevich Chugayev
Alan Anatoljewitsch Chugajew ( Ossetian Хуыгаты Анатолийы фырт Алан ; Russian Алан Анатольевич Хугаев ; born April 27, 1989 in Ordzhonikidze ) is a Russian wrestler of Ossetian origin. He became in 2011 Vice European Champion and 2012 Olympic champion in Greco-Roman wrestling in the middleweight division .
Career
Alan Khugayev started wrestling as a teenager in 1999. He starts for the sports club Torpedo Wladikawkas and is or was by Wladimir Uruimagow u. Vakhtang Kaglojew trains. He starts exclusively in the Greco-Roman style and with a height of 1.82 meters in the middleweight , the weight class up to 82 kg body weight. He is a student, but makes a living e.g. Currently only with the wrestling.
He began his international career at the Junior European Championship 2007 (Juniors) in Belgrade , where he won the middleweight title from Timo Kallio from Finland and Sergo Ninua from Georgia . His next big success came at the 2009 Junior World Championships in Ankara . At this championship he faced the Iranian Babak Hossein Ghorbani Goldasteh in the final , against whom he was defeated by just a few points.
In 2011 Alan Khugayev started at the renowned Ivan Poddubny Memorial, a Fila Golden Grand Prix tournament, in Tyumen and won this tournament in the middleweight division. In the final battle he defeated the Olympic champion of 2004 and multiple world and European champion Alexei Mischin from Russia and thus acquired the ticket to the EM 2011 in Dortmund . In Dortmund he won over Vincenzo Scibilia, Italy , Artur Schahinjan , Armenia and Jan Fischer (wrestler) from Germany and faced Wassyl Ratschyba , a surprise man from Ukraine , in the final and lost on points. This made him vice European champion . At the Russian championship 2011 he lost in the final against the old master Alexei Mishin and took 2nd place.
Somewhat surprisingly celebrated Alan Chugajew at the Olympic Games 2012 in London the biggest success in his young wrestler career, because he was with wins over Alim Selimau , Belarus, Danijal Gadschijew , Kazakhstan, Vladimer Gegeshidze , Georgia and Karam Ibrahim , Egypt , Olympic champion .
In 2013, Alan Khugayev was defeated by Alexei Mishin in the final of the Russian championship. Mishin was therefore used by the Russian Wrestling Federation at the World and European Championships this year. For Alan Chugajew only the start remained at the Universiade in Kazan, where he won in a superior style.
