Hanna de Haan (born March 11, 1993 in Westerstede ) is a German soccer player . The goalkeeper currently plays for the Swiss fourth division club FC Baden .

Athletic career

As a child, de Haan first played for SV Frisia Brinkum and switched to SV Nortmoor at the age of eight . In the C-youth she switched to SuS Timmel , where she was then also active in the B-youth and in the first women's team. On August 27, 2011, de Haan made his debut in the U20 NFV selection in Barsinghausen and lost 8-0 to VfL Wolfsburg . In autumn 2012, she took part in the U20 country cup in Duisburg-Wedau and stood next to Merle Frohms in goal.

In 2012 she moved to the second division club SV Meppen , where she was under contract for a year and a half before she played in the BeNe League at Dutch PEC Zwolle . Half a year later she went to SV Werder Bremen in the 2nd Bundesliga North , in which she made her debut on December 1, 2013 against FF USV Jena . In the 2013/14 season she reached third place with SV Werder Bremen in the 2nd North Women's Bundesliga. After the season, de Haan decided to do a bachelor's degree in psychology in the United States , where she played for three years for the University of Portland's college team , the Portland Pilots .

Returned to Germany in 2017, de Haan moved to the second division club Bayer 04 Leverkusen . With her team, Hanna de Haan made it to the women's Bundesliga in the first year . With Leverkusen, she also had her first appearance in the DFB Cup against 1. FFC Frankfurt . During this time she completed her goalkeeping coaching license in Hennef and coached the goalkeepers of Bayer 04 Leverkusen from the U13 to the 2nd women's team. In 2018 she moved to the Switzerland for Grasshoppers Zurich , in the top division in the Swiss women's football, the National League A , played. In the summer of 2019, after 12 competitive games for the Grasshoppers (nine in the league, three in the cup), she returned to Germany to complete her master's degree in sports psychology in Cologne . There she played for the Middle Rhine division SC Fortuna Köln .

De Haan has been playing for the Swiss fourth division club FC Baden since the 2020/21 season.

Personal

Hanna de Haan attended the vocational schools for health and social affairs in Nordhorn , where she graduated from high school in 2013. She graduated from the University of Portland with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2017 . In 2020 she completed her master's degree in sport psychology at the German Sport University Cologne .
