Hannes Koch (2018)

Hannes Koch (* 1961 in Remscheid ) is an independently working German economics correspondent . He writes for numerous German newspapers and is co-founder of the press office die korrespondenten .

Career

From 1981 Hannes Koch studied history , German , education , philosophy and economics in Bonn and Hanover . The course was followed by community service (from 1987), an internship (from 1990) and a job as a teacher . From 1993 Koch worked as a freelance journalist for various newspapers (e.g. Berliner Morgenpost , Süddeutsche Zeitung , Frankfurter Rundschau ). Hannes Koch worked for the Berliner Morgenpost from 1996 and then switched to taz, the daily newspaper , in 1997 . First he was editor for economy and environment of the taz, from 2002 its deputy parliamentary correspondent and from 2005 parliamentary correspondent with a focus on economic, social, labor market and financial policy as well as international politics and globalization.

In 2003 Koch founded the "European Institute for Globalization Research".

In 2008 Hannes Koch co-founded the press office die korrespondenten.
