Hans-Joachim Recknitz
Hans-Joachim Recknitz jun. (also Jack Recknitz, Polish Jacek Recknitz , born May 25, 1931 in Baden-Baden ; † January 13, 2013 there ) was a German theater and film actor who also worked abroad. a. worked in Poland .
life and career
Recknitz was the son of the actors and actresses Hans-Joachim sen. (actually Zinke, 1905–1961) and Katharina Recknitz. His professional career began as an announcer on Leipzig radio. At the same time he practiced in theaters across Germany and also attended the Mannheim drama school . After graduating as an actor in 1953, he played in the theaters of Annaberg , Parchim , Bautzen and Chemnitz . In 1965 he moved to Poland . From 1966 to 1968 he was the announcer in the international broadcasts of the Polish Radio, from 1967 to 1980 he was an actor in the Jewish Theater in Warsaw (in Yiddish).
Overall, Recknitz appeared in about 80 mostly Polish television and cinema films and played the roles of foreigners, mainly Germans, British and US-Americans.
In 1984 he returned to Germany, from 2008 he lived in his hometown Baden-Baden , but often visited Poland.
