Hans-Peter Strenge

Hans-Peter Strenge (born September 19, 1948 in Nordstrand ) is a German administrative lawyer and was district office manager in Hamburg-Altona from 1984 to 1995

Education and professional career

Hans-Peter Strenge grew up in Hamburg . Attended school in St. Peter-Ording and Hamburg-Blankenese . Abitur in 1968. Then studied law in Hamburg and Freiburg im Breisgau . Assessorexamen 1975. From 1976 to 1984 he was an administrative lawyer in various specialist authorities in Hamburg. From 1984 to 1995 he was district office manager ( district mayor ) in Altona, elected in 1984 by the SPD and CDU in the district assembly, re-elected in 1990 by the SPD, Greens and FDP . From 1996 to 2001 Strenge was a State Councilor in the Hamburg judicial authority and in the Senate Office for District Affairs. After the change of government under Mayor Ole von Beust at the beginning of 2002, he was retired as a political official and has been a volunteer ever since.

Voluntary work in church and society
