Hans Crüger

Hans Crüger (born May 30, 1859 in Königsberg , † January 8, 1927 in Berlin ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Crüger attended grammar school and studied law at the University of Königsberg from 1878 to 1881 , received his doctorate in 1883 and was a court assessor from 1886. In 1887 he became the first secretary of the General Association of German Acquisitions and Economic Cooperatives and in 1896 an attorney for this association. He was also from 1899 to 1903 and then again from 1906 to 1918 a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and City Councilor in Charlottenburg . He was editor of the "Blätter für Genossenschaftwesen" and wrote comments on the Cooperative Law and the Reich Law on limited liability companies. He was also the editor of the yearbook of the General Association, the reference library for the German cooperative system, the cooperative time and controversial issues and provided economic articles for a large number of journals, as well as for the concise dictionary of political science. He was a lecturer at the Fürst Leopold Academy in Detmold and taught as a professor at the Handelshochschule Berlin. In addition, since 1911 he had a teaching position at the University of Halle an der Saale at the seminar for cooperatives. Crüger was a member of numerous board members and on the supervisory board of Dresdner Bank.

From December 11, 1901 to 1903, he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Wiesbaden 2 ( Wiesbaden-Stadt ) and the Liberal People's Party. From 1906 to 1913 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1898 to 1918 City Councilor for Charlottenburg. After the First World War , Crüger was a member of the Prussian Constitutional Assembly for the German Democratic Party from 1919 to 1921 .
