Hans Grashoff

Hans Hinrich Hermann Carl Grashoff (born August 30, 1862 in Meppen , † February 10, 1938 in Hanover ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Grashoff was the son of Pastor Wilhelm Grashoff in Meppen. He studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In the winter semester of 1880/81 he became a member of the Alemannia fraternity . After passing his exams, he joined the Prussian administrative service as a government assessor in 1890 . In 1898 he became district administrator in the Schwetz district . From 1904 he was a senior councilor at the Prussian settlement commission . In 1908 he came to Hanover as the government vice president. He was then from June 1911 to April 1922 district president in the Stade administrative district .

Grashoff's wife Anna was the daughter of the banker and industrialist Konrad Gaedeke and his wife Molly Ludowica geb. Braunschweig (1850-1918). The Grashoffstrasse in Geestemünde is named after Grashoff .
