Hans Küßwetter

Hans Küßwetter (born January 14, 1909 in Ehingen , † November 19, 1965 in Dinkelsbühl ) was a German politician of the CSU and from 1962 to 1965 President of the District Assembly of Middle Franconia .

Life

Küßwetter studied history, politics, German and ancient languages ​​at the universities of Munich and Berlin . In 1929 he became a member of the Corps Hercynia Munich. In 1936 he was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD. From 1937 he worked as a student assistant in Munich and took part in the Second World War from 1941 until the end of the war in 1945 .

In 1954, Küßwetter was elected as District Councilor in the first Central Franconian District Assembly after the Second World War and served as Deputy District Assembly President from 1958 to 1962 and President of the District Assembly from 1962 to 1965. From 1948 to 1965, Küßwetter was also elected district administrator of the then Dinkelsbühl district , which now belongs to the district of Ansbach , and has been chairman of the CSU district association of Middle Franconia since 1952.

Küßwetter was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit on December 7, 1964 .
