Hans Lauchlan from Guenther

Hans Lauchlan Guenther (since 1881 von Guenther ) (born February 3, 1864 in Berlin , † March 30, 1934 in Breslau ) was a Prussian administrative officer. He was Undersecretary of State in the Prussian State Ministry and, most recently, Upper President of the Province of Silesia .

Life

He was the son of William Barstow von Guenther . He studied law and served up to the rank of captain . Since his studies in Heidelberg he was a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia . After various positions in preparatory service , he became a government assessor at the Berlin Police Headquarters in 1890 . In 1891 he moved to the senior presidium in Potsdam . From 1896 he was district administrator in Löwenberg . In 1900 he was appointed to the government council. From 1901 he was a permanent laborer in the Reich Chancellery. A short time later he became a secret government councilor and lecturer in the Prussian State Ministry. But it was also used in the Reich Chancellery. In 1904 he was appointed to the Secret Upper Government Council. Between 1907 and 1910 he was Undersecretary of State in the Prussian State Ministry. Then he was from 1910 to 1919 Upper President in the province of Silesia. From 1921 to 1926 was a member of the Reichsrat as authorized representative for Lower Silesia . He was then a deputy member of the Prussian State Council until 1930 .
