Hans Süper junior (born March 15, 1936 in Cologne ) is a German musician and comedian . He became known in 1974 as part of the Colonia Duet .

He is the son of the musician Hans Süper senior , who was a member of the Cologne singing quartet De Vier Botze . Süper junior made his first appearance together with his brother Paul “Charly” Süper (accordion) as “Zwei Schnürreme” in the same genre as the later Colonia Duet . During this time he met his future duo partner Hans Zimmermann , who was traveling with his sister Gretchen as the Zimmermann sibling . From 1974 on, Süper performed his "Flitsch" (Cologne name for a mandolin ) together with Hans Zimmermann ( guitar ) until 1990 as a Colonia Duet. In its successful phase, the duo made 250 to 300 appearances per year and developed a stage routine with the central swear word "Du Ei" around which improvised and planned gags and income- like compositions were placed. The collaboration was ended in November 1990.

After separating from his stage partner Zimmermann, from October 9, 1991 to 2002, Süper performed with the new partner Werner Keppel as the Süper-Duett again with the same stage show in the form of a double conference , which took place at a gala in Cologne's Gürzenich on January 24 2002 officially celebrated his farewell. Later on, in contrast to his partner, Süper spoke increasingly Standard German. In 2004, Süper finally said goodbye to the stage and lived temporarily in Spain (first in Mequinenza , later on Gran Canaria ). Süper has his residence in Cologne-Sülz .

There is a stick puppet by Süper in the Hänneschen Theater . On November 20, 2004, the WDR dedicated the program A red carpet for ... Hans Süper to him . In March 2011, the biography Hans Süper appeared: My life with the Flitsch by Helmut Frangenberg. Süper has been married to his wife Helga for the third time since 1997; he has two sons from the first two marriages.

After his stage farewell, Süper performed in 2011 and 2012 with the program Mein Leben mit der Flitsch and in 2012 as part of the “Coelner Giganten” (with Köster & Hocker , Arno Steffen and the Mike Herting Orchestra). Both events were broadcast on television, some of which were shortened. Furthermore, in January 2013, Süper performed again in the Gürzenich as part of the proclamation of the Cologne triumvirate . On October 2, 2016 he was a guest at Kölle sings in the Lanxess Arena in front of around 12,000 spectators. On February 15, 2020 he was awarded the Düren Order of Paper Makers and performed the song Ich bin ene Kölsche Jung .
