Hans Schwarzmann

Hans Hugo Rupprecht Schwarzmann (born February 16, 1913 in Aschaffenburg , † February 13, 1994 in Tegernsee ) was a German ambassador .

Life

Hans Hugo Rupprecht Schwarzmann's father was a lawyer . Hans Hugo Rupprecht Schwarzmann attended boarding school in Schondorf am Ammersee . In May 1933 he became a member of the NSDAP and the SA .

From 1932 to 1936 Hans Schwarzmann studied law and economics at the Universities of Munich , Erlangen and Königsberg . In 1935 he passed the first state examination in law in Munich and in 1936 received a diploma in economics in Erlangen. 1936 Black man became a doctor of law doctorate . From 1937 to 1939 Schwarzmann was secretary of the cement cartel in Paris.

Joachim von Ribbentrop was married to a cousin of Schwarzmann's wife. Until 1942, Hans Schwarzmann was the legation secretary as a specialist in French questions for the Ribbentrop office . He was a spectator at hostage shootings in France and negotiated the establishment of a central Jewish office in the part of France administered by the Vichy regime .

After May 8, 1945, Schwarzmann was employed in the Bavarian State Chancellery and went to Bonn with Hans-Heinrich Herwarth von Bittenfeld , from where the lecturing Legation Councilor 1st class Schwarzmann was sent to head the Berlin office of the Foreign Office.

From 1966 to 1971 Schwarzmann was Chief of Protocol in the German Foreign Office , then German Ambassador to Mexico (until 1975) and Morocco (1975 to 1978).
