Hans Weidinger

Hans Weidinger (born April 4, 1929 in Nuremberg ; † June 6, 2016 in Regensburg ) was a German gynecologist and obstetrician.

Life

Weidinger studied medicine at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg . In 1950 he was reciprocated in the Corps Rhenania Würzburg . In three semesters he distinguished himself as a senior . When he was inactive , he moved to the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen . In 1952 he was awarded a Dr. med. PhD. He completed his training in gynecology and obstetrics at the Würzburg University Hospital . He went to Heidelberg and was in Japan. In the winter semester 1964/65 he held a visiting professorship at the II. University Women's Clinic in Budapest. After completing his habilitation , he worked at the gynecological clinic in Mannheim University Hospital from 1967 . In 1976 he came to Bayreuth as head physician at the women's clinic . The Bayreuth Municipal Hospitals later elected him medical director . After retiring in May 1994, he worked as a doctor at the Bayreuth Festival for 10 years . He loved magic and was one of the founders of the Magic Circle in Bayreuth. He is buried in the family grave in the Johannisfriedhof (Nuremberg) .
