Hans von der Malsburg

Hans von der Malsburg (born June 5, 1831 at Escheberg Castle near Zierenberg , † February 2, 1908 in Kassel ) was a German manor owner and politician.

Life

Hans von der Malsburg studied law in Heidelberg and became a member of the Corps Guestphalia there in 1851 . He was promoted to Dr. jur. PhD. He was the owner of a manor on Escheberg, Oedinghausen and Ober- and Niederelsungen . In 1874 he was elected as Vice-Marshal of the Althessian Knighthood in the Hessian Estates Assembly. In 1880 he became a member of the municipal council as a representative of the Wolfhagen district , its vice-president in 1881 and chairman in 1890. Until 1899 he was also President of the Provincial Parliament and Chairman of the Provincial Committee.

In addition, von der Malsburg was the chairman of the general synodal committee for the Kassel government district and a member of the board of the Hessian deaconess house . After resigning from his honorary functions, he was appointed to the Real Privy Council and a member of the Prussian mansion .
