The Hanseat is a passenger ship operated by the Bremen shipping company Hal över .

history

The Hanseat was as hull number 143 on the Roland shipyard built and ran in 1988 for the shipping company of Otto Wilhelm August Schreiber from stack . After commissioning, it was used for tours on the Lower Weser . In 2002 the Schreiber-Reederei merged with Hal över and the Hanseat was also taken over. It was modernized in the same year.

On March 29, 2007, the Hanseat met the road bridge in Hundsmühlen in the coastal canal . The wheelhouse was destroyed and the master was slightly injured.

Equipment and use

The Hanseat is approved for 400 passengers, whose facilities are spread over two decks . The restaurant has 250 seats and 80 seats for conferences .

The Hanseat is stationed at the Schlachte and is still mainly used for tours on the Bremen Unterweser. In addition, there are special trips and the entire ship can also be chartered .
