Hansjörg Häfele (born March 6, 1932 in Uttenweiler ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

From 1982 to 1989 he was Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Minister of Finance .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1952 in Wangen im Allgäu , Häfele, who is a Roman Catholic , studied law and economics at the University of Tübingen , which he completed in 1956 with the first state examination and in 1961 with the second state examination . At the University of Tuebingen carried his promotion to Dr. jur. During his studies he became a member of the Catholic student association KStV Alamannia Tübingen . In 1961 Häfele joined the internal administration of the state of Baden-Württemberg . Most recently he was press officer for the state interior minister.

From 1965 to 1990, Häfele, who joined the CDU in 1961, was a member of the German Bundestag . From 1976 to 1980 he was chairman of the budget, taxes, money and credit working group and from 1980 to 1982 chairman of the finance and budget working group of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group .

Häfele entered the Bundestag as a directly elected member of the constituency of Donaueschingen from 1965 to 1976 and since 1980 as a directly elected member of the Schwarzwald - Baar constituency . Most recently, he received 56.2% of the first votes in the 1987 federal election .
