Harald Schäfer (director)
Harald Schäfer (born January 14, 1931 in Burkhards , † September 10, 2001 in Berlin ) was a German director , actor , screenwriter and voice actor , who became known for his films for the Augsburger Puppenkiste .
Life
Harald Schäfer was born the son of a teacher and studied musicology and German . During his studies he worked in Frankfurt am Main as an assistant director for operas and operettas . Also as a comedian. In 1956 he became a director at the Hessischer Rundfunk and in particular the Augsburger Puppenkiste . Schäfer died in Berlin.
