Harald Wehmeier

Harald Wehmeier ( pseudonym Doctor Holthusen ; born June 19, 1953 in Osnabrück - Schinkel ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

Wehmeier worked from 1992 to 2013 as an editor at NDR 2 in the comedy area . With Detlev Gröning he wrote the radio play series Neues aus Stenkelfeld and spoke to several people. Together with Andreas Altenburg he wrote the satirical program Breakfast with Stefanie and spoke the roles of Mr. Ahlers and Grandpa Gehrke. He took on various speaking roles in films like Werner - Volles Rooäää !!! , Werner - Ice cold! as well as in the television cartoon comedy SV Büdelsbüttel 00. He also appeared in the television comedy Team Germany.

Since the summer of 2013, Wehmeier has no longer worked as a permanent editor at NDR, but as a freelance author. So he can no longer produce Stefanie's daily comedy breakfast . It was last broadcast on June 14, 2013.

Awards

Harald Wehmeier and Andreas Altenburg received the German Radio Prize 2011 for Stefanie's radio comedy breakfast .

The television comedy Jennifer - Longing for something better, penned by Harald Wehmeier and Andreas Altenburg, was awarded the German Comedy Prize 2018 in the category “Best Sitcom”.
