The main road C27 ( English Main Road C27 ) is located in the sparsely populated southwest of Namibia . It runs from Helmeringhausen in a northerly direction via Betta , the Namib-Rand Nature Park and Sesriem , where the paved road branches off to the dunes of Sossusvlei in the Namib-Naukluft National Park , then it continues for a few kilometers to the main road C19 .
The entire route of the C27 has a gravel base course.
