The C34 north of Swakopmund (2005)

The main road C34 is a beachfront road and opens up from Swakopmund to the Dorob National Park and the south Atlantic coast of Namibia to the north.

It consists of a superstructure with a salt base and has a connection to the B2 national road in Swakopmund . Since 2012, the D1984 section between the main road C14 near Walvis Bay and the national road B2 near Swakopmund has also been declared the main road C34 . This section has been asphalted since 2016 and expanded to the A2 motorway.

The section of the C34 from Swakopmund to Henties Bay should be paved by the end of 2019 [obsolete] .
