The main road C14 ( English Main Road C14 ) opens up the southwest of Namibia . It runs from the south Atlantic coast in Walvis Bay through the Namib Desert and the Namib-Naukluft National Park , the Naukluft and Tiras Mountains until it meets the B4 national road south of Bethanien in Goageb .

With the exception of a few paved sections (such as between Walvis Bay and Walvis Bay Airport ), the C14 mostly has a gravel base .
