The Heftelnabelinge ( Rickenella ) are a genus of fungi from the order of the bristle disk-like . The fruiting bodies have an umbilical or helmet-like habit with hygrophic hats.
The type is the orange-red label ( Rickenella fibula ). The scientific generic name honors the German mycologist Adalbert Ricken .
features
Macroscopic features
The 2–20 (–30) mm wide hats are convex, bell-shaped, spread flat, hunched, depressed or have a papilla. They change their color ( hygrophan ) when they dry or moisten , are grooved through and have a downy surface. The lamellas standing at a distance either run down the handle or have grown there with a falling tooth , either wide or outwardly. The spore powder is white in color. The stems are also downy. The fruit bodies smell and taste unspecifically.
Microscopic features
4 elliptical to cylindrical spores ripen on the spore stands ( basidia ) . They are smooth-walled, transparent (hyaline) and show no color reaction on contact with iodine solutions . Sterile elements ( cystidia ) occur on the lamellar surfaces and edges, the stalk bark and the cap skin. The hymenophore consists of inflated elements that also have no iodine color reaction. The hat cover layer ( Pileipellis ) is a cutis made of lying fungal threads ( hyphae ). The hyphae septa wear buckles .
ecology
Heftelnabelinge live parasitically on mosses .
