Heidrun Bründel

Heidrun Bründel (* 1944 in Bad Polzin ) is a German certified psychologist, school psychologist , emergency psychologist and non-fiction author.

Career

Bründel first studied history and Romance studies at the Universities of Göttingen and Université de Clermont-Ferrand and then worked as a secondary school teacher in Lower Saxony. From 1972 to 1976 she studied psychology at the Universities of Geneva (Switzerland), Göttingen and Aachen .

From 1976 to 1978 she worked as a guest psychologist in the school psychology service of the city of Aachen and from 1978 to 1980 full-time in the children's department of the Bethlehem Hospital in Stolberg near Aachen. From 1980 to 2009 she worked in the education and school counseling of the Gütersloh district . Since then she has been working closely with Klaus Hurrelmann . In 1992, she was of him with a thesis on Jugendsuizidalität at the University of Bielefeld for Dr. phil. did his doctorate and then took on teaching positions on the topics of suicide and violence .

Heidrun Bründel is a member of the Professional Association of German Psychologists (BdP) and in 2010 was the editor of the SchulVerwaltung Spezial issue on the subject of bullying .

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research , Bründel wrote an expert report on the state of knowledge of sexual abuse in 2010 . Teachers as perpetrators and students as victims . In the same year she was appointed to working group III research, teaching and training of the Round Table on Sexual Abuse of Children in Dependency and Power Relationships in private and public institutions and in the family area of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research .

Work areas

Since 2009 she has been working as a freelance political consultant on the topics of sexual violence and sexual abuse as well as in the further training of school principals, teachers and educators on the following topics: teaching disorders , bullying , violence in schools, suicide prevention and amok prevention .
