The Heimwehfluhturm is an observation tower in the municipality of Matten near Interlaken in the canton of Bern .

The tower built in 1890 replaced the wooden tower from 1865, which was destroyed by the storm. 39 steps lead to the viewing platform.
From the platform there is a view from Lake Thun over Interlaken and Lake Brienz to the Bernese Alps .
