Heinrich Friedrich Carl Erythropel (born January 10, 1865 in Hagenow ; † January 5, 1940 ) was a German administrative lawyer and DVP politician.

Life

Heinrich Erythropel was born the son of a businessman. After attending a private school in his hometown and graduating from the Fridericianum Schwerin in 1884 , he began to study law at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . In 1885 he became active in the Corps Franconia Tübingen . In the same year he moved to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin , where he was also active in the Corps Normannia Berlin with Rudolf Focke . For the winter semester 1888/89 he went to the home university of Rostock . He passed the first state examination in law in 1891 and the second state examination in 1895. He was a court assessor in Rostock, Waren (Müritz) , Güstrow , Teterow and Grabow . In 1898 he was appointed magistrate in Goldberg (Mecklenburg) and Güstrow. In 1915/16 he was chairman of the collective bargaining office for the construction industry in both Mecklenburg and in 1919/20 chairman of the state authority for people's nutrition in Mecklenburg-Schwerin . In 1921 he was entrusted with the management of the state commissioner for demobilization and the head of the central information center for the labor market as a senior government councilor . From 1922 he was chairman of a chamber of the Reichsentschädigungsamt in Hamburg . He was married to Gertrud geb. Petersen .

Erythropel was 1908-1914 and 1919 member of the citizens' committee in Güstrow. He joined the German People's Party (DVP) and sat in the state parliament of the Free State of Mecklenburg-Schwerin from 1921 to 1924 . From July 28, 1920 to January 12, 1921 he was Minister of State for the Interior in the government of the Free State of Mecklenburg-Schwerin led by Prime Minister Hermann Reincke-Bloch .
