Heinrich I. Erndel

Heinrich I. Erndel (baptized on July 15, 1569 in Regensburg ; buried on June 15, 1623 in Wolfenbüttel ) was the imperial body and court pharmacist in Prague .

Career

Heinrich Erndel (also Erndl, Erndlin, Erndtel) was a son of Mattis Erndl .

  • 1589 he took over his father "Pharmacy on the market" (carbon market), later known as "pharmacy to the black Moor" and since about 1649 as Mohrenapotheke known.
  • In 1595, on October 30th, he bought his three sisters' shares in the property " Haus am Markt between H. Helmer and the Riemer Gerd " for 1100 guilders.
  • 1607 - Appointment as personal and court pharmacist of Rudolf II. Emperor of the HRR († 1612).
  • 1609 on September 18, he sold the pharmacy and a garden in Regensburg. Heinrich Erndl was referred to as "citizen here and Kais. Majesty personal pharmacist of Prague".
  • 1612 - Appointment as personal and court pharmacist of Matthias, Emperor of the HRR († 1619).

  • 1615 - Georg Friedrich Graf von Hardegg complains against Hans Erndlin for intercessionalis to the King of France ratione debiti
  • 1617 - In the reign of Matthias Kaiser of the HRR († 1619) Erndel received a nobility diploma in 1617 .

In 1623 he died in Wolfenbüttel and was buried in the church there.

Heinrich Erndel (Erndl) was a son of the Regensburg pharmacist Mattis (also Mattäus) Erndl (* approx. 1535 in Neuburg an der Donau, where he was a pharmacist from 1563 - 1564; † 1587 in Regensburg ) and Ursula (buried on January 7, 1595 in Regensburg), daughter of the lawyer and councilor in Regensburg, Electoral Palatinate. u. kurköln. Since October 17, 1591 Erndel was married to Jacobina Haller (* 1570 in Augsburg , † April 1, 1603 in Regensburg). Her father Nikolaus Haller (also Heller) (* November 1539 in Augsburg, † 1584 in Regensburg) was a Fugger factor in Genoa , Milan and in Spain , also Imperial and Bavarian Council); her mother Felizitas Vischer (* 1540 in Augsburg). Erndel married Anna Maria, a daughter of Hieronymus Widholz, a merchant in Augsburg and Sabina Stenglin, on July 9, 1604, as a widower. She accompanied him to Prague and was a beloved stepmother. Emperor Ferdinand II banned all Protestants from Bohemia. Stepson Dr. Heinrich II. Erndel took Anna Maria with him to Sanct Annaberg and on to Dresden, where she married Wilhelm Wechtenbrugk von Hohenberg (* 1571 in Prague; † 10 September 1633 in Dresden) after August 6, 1628 (marriage letter) ), former court trader in Prague, married. On March 12, 1644, Anna Maria von Wechtenbrugk (also Wechtenbruck) named Dr. Heinrich Erndl, Churf. Saxon. Leibmedicus, and bequeathed him a silver bottle and bracelets, and a gold ring to his daughter the Virgin Dorothea. The will recorded on July 31, 1644.
