Helena Daehler

Helena Daehler (* 1987 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actress , singer , songwriter and journalist . She plays guitar , bass and ukulele .

Live and act

From 2007 to 2010 Helena Daehler attended the European Film Actor School (EFAS) in Zurich. Helena Daehler has been living in Berlin since 2011 , where she works as a reporter for the private broadcaster Berliner Rundfunk 91.4 in addition to music and theater .

In 2009 she released her first studio EP 47days as “Helena D” in collaboration with musician and producer Moritz Vontobel and sang in a singing contest at the AT&T Park baseball stadium in San Francisco. Between 2009 and 2010 Helena Daehler composed both the theme music for the movie Nordwärts and the soundtrack for the short film Zimmer sucht . In 2013 she wrote music for the play I called him a tie at the Maxim Gorki Theater, directed by Jana Milena Polasek. In 2014 she took over the musical direction of the production Die Wildente at the Nationaltheater Mannheim under the direction of Elmar Goerden .

In 2009, Helena Daehler played the leading female role in the short film Sommerwette , which won the audience award at the Swiss Youth Film Festival. While studying acting, she took on the leading role in the feature film Nordwärts , which was nominated for Best Swiss Film at the Lucerne Film Festival LiFF. In 2013 she was seen in a production by Swiss TV SRF in the production Die Schweizer - Alfred Escher in the role of Lydia Escher . At the theater, Helena Daehler worked with Sebastian Nübling at the Schauspielhaus Zurich , Volkmar Kamm at the Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart , Jana Polasek at the guest performances in Zurich and Elmar Goerden at the Nationaltheater Mannheim .
