Helmut Woll

Helmut Woll (born May 14, 1950 in Illingen ) is a German business educator and economist .

Life

Helmut Woll studied business education , economics and sociology in Saarbrücken and Bremen . In 1978 he was promoted to Dr. rer. pole. PhD at the University of Bremen .

Since then Helmut Woll has taught at the University of Bremen , University of Mannheim (1998) and from 1999 to 2005 at the TU Chemnitz , where he held the professorship for business education from 2000 to 2005 . From 2005 to 2011 Woll also taught at the University of Flensburg . From 2011 to 2012 Woll worked at the University of Siegen . In 2012, Woll began working as an academic employee in the field of business didactics at the PH Karlsruhe , which ended in 2014.

In addition, from 1983 to 1986 Helmut Woll was a member of the founding committee of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Witten / Herdecke . From 1991 to 1995 he headed the research project economic training in the new federal states in Neuzelle near Eisenhüttenstadt . From 1983 to 2016, Woll and Christian Matthiessen were on the board of the Institute for Contemporary Social Issues Bremen / Freiburg e.V., founded by Hans-Georg Schweppenhäuser and Robert Jungk in 1963 . V. He is currently doing voluntary work there.

In 1987 Helmut Woll completed his habilitation in political economics and its didactics at the University of Oldenburg , where he has been a private lecturer since then.

His main research interests are concentration theory, the image of man in economics and business education.
