Henning Kühnle

Henning Kühnle (born April 7, 1943 in Kiel ; † June 17, 2019 ) was a German gynecologist .

Life

Kühnle's parents were the naval officer Heinz Kühnle and his wife Leni nee. Quieter. During the Second World War , they moved with him and their two daughters to Travemünde . From 1953 to 1962 Kühnle attended the Katharineum in Lübeck . After graduating from high school, he went to the German Navy as a reserve officer candidate with Crew IV / 62 . After completing his basic training, he worked as a watch officer on speedboats . On March 31, 1964 he was released as a lieutenant at sea . With the summer semester of 1964 he began studying medicine at theChristian Albrechts University in Kiel . In June 1964 he became active in the Corps Palaiomarchia-Masovia . After completing the Physikum , he moved to the University of Vienna and the Georg-August University of Göttingen . After graduating (1969), he earned his doctorate with a thesis on the subject of Abdominal decompression at Heinz Kirchhoff to Dr. med. In 1973 he married a daughter of Armin Zimmermann . After his time as a medical assistant , he began clinical training in anesthesiology at the Bundeswehr Hospital in Ulm . Promoted to lieutenant at sea , he returned to the Göttingen women's clinic. As a senior physician , he completed his habilitation in gynecological oncology in 1984 . For years he was a drum doctor for the Göttingen Seniors' Convention . In 1988 he followed the call of the Hannover Medical School for the newly established C3 professorship for Special Oncology and Experimental Gynecology. In 2008 he retired.
