Henryk Dywan
Henryk Dywan (* 1933 in Konitz ) is a German sculptor .
biography
From 1951 to 1954 Henryk Dywan trained as a wood, stone and metal sculptor in Ludwig Nolde's workshop in Osnabrück . He then studied with Ludwig Gies at the Cologne factory schools until 1960 . Dywan lives and works as a freelance artist in his studio in a historic courtyard building in the Höhscheid district of Solingen .
Honors
In 1993 Dywan was awarded the Baden Foundation's Culture Prize.
