Hermann Seydel

Hermann Seydel (* 1869 in Breslau ; † 1923 ) was a German lawyer . In 1923 he was President of the Reich Railway Directorate in Hanover .

Life

Hermann Seydel was born in 1869 as the son of a factory owner in Breslau.

Seydel passed his Abitur at Easter 1889 in the Maria Magdalenen High School and then studied law at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University , also in Breslau .

After becoming a Dr. jur. After receiving his doctorate, Hermann Seydel was initially employed as a court assessor in Hirschberg in the Riesengebirge in 1898 , but was already taken over into the service of the Prussian-Hessian State Railway in 1899 , where he was active in administration.

Seydel later worked as a government assessor as well as a councilor in his hometown at the Wroclaw Railway Directorate , then at the Kassel Railway Directorate and finally at the Münster Railway Directorate .

During the time of the German Empire , Hermann Seydel was appointed to Berlin in 1912 as a lecturer in the local Ministry of Public Works . Here he was also a member of the Royal Prussian Railway Central Office .

After the First World War , Hermann Seydel was appointed ministerial director "[...] of the personnel department of the Prussia-Hessen group" in 1920. Only a few years he took over in 1923 in Hannover , the position as president of the National Railroad management Hanover.

Hermann Seydel is also said to have died in 1923.
