Hermann von Loga (born November 18, 1859 on Gut Wichorsee , Kulm district , West Prussia , † November 6, 1911 there ) was a landowner and Prussian politician.

family

He came from a Polish noble family with the coat of arms "Topacz" , who had been resident on Gut Wichorsee in West Prussia since 1788, and was the son of the landowner and royal Prussian district administrator Hermann von Loga (1816-1891), lord of the Wichorsee, and Valerie von Döring (1827-1912).

Loga married on May 27, 1890 in Kulm (West Prussia) Elfriede von Kummer (born March 29, 1870 in Berlin , † April 30, 1945 when the Red Army arrived in Wendfeld near Sanitz , Rostock district , Mecklenburg ), the daughter of the royal Prussian Lieutenant General Heinrich von Kummer and Marie Kahlbaum . Of the four children, the two sons Viktor (1893–1915) and Hermann von Loga (1895–1914) fell as Prussian lieutenants in World War I , the eldest son Hans-Heinrich (1891–1945) came together with his mother, his Wife and his own children when the Red Army reached Wendfeld. Only daughter Maria von Loga (1898–1946) survived her family, but died in 1946 at the age of 48.

Life

Loga was the last landlord on the Wichorsee family estate and a member of the Prussian manor house .
