Hermannsöd is a wasteland and district of the Wiesent community in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg in Eastern Bavaria .
Geography and transport links
The place is north of the core town of Wiesent on the northern municipality border. District road R 42 runs not far to the west . State road 2125 and federal motorway 3 run further south . The closest city is Wörth an der Donau , about five kilometers southeast.
history
Hermannsöd has been part of the Frauenzell parish since 1869 . The earliest naming of a resident is likely to have been made in 1685 through a donation to the Wiesent parish.
