Hesselmühle is a residential area in the municipality of Burgoberbach in the district of Ansbach ( Middle Franconia ).

geography

The former wasteland today consists of two residential and two outbuildings with house no. 29 and 29a of Wassertrüdinger Straße (= Staatsstraße 2221 ), which runs to Burgoberbach (center 0.7 km north) and to Gerersdorf (1.1 km south). The properties are located on the Hesselbach, a left tributary of the Altmühl . Opposite them in the west is the Kreuzäcker industrial park , in the northeast there is a new building area and in the southeast is the Greut corridor .

history

Hesselmühle was in the Fraisch district of the Eichstättian Oberamt Wahrberg-Herrieden . From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach . The mill was given house number 49 in Burgoberbach. A few parcels of arable land and pasture land were scattered around the property.

As part of the municipal edict, the Hesselmühle was assigned to the Burgoberbach tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Burgoberbach , which was founded a little later . After 1888 it is no longer run as a district.
