Hettenkirchen is an officially named part of the municipality of Attenkirchen in the Upper Bavarian district of Freising .

geography

The hamlet is located in the Pfettrach district just under two kilometers north of Attenkirchen, east of the federal highway 301 . A high-voltage overhead line runs past the village to the east and connects Irsching and Finsing .

history

In the Middle Ages, Hettenkirchen was a closed Hofmark , which also included the village of Mösbuch . The Hofmark was temporarily owned by the Au dominion . The political community Pfettrach , to which Hettenkirchen also belonged, came into being with the community edict of 1818. In the course of the community reform on April 1, 1971, the community Pfettrach and thus also Hettenkirchen was incorporated into Attenkirchen.

Architectural monuments

Centrally located in the hamlet is St. Peter, a listed Catholic branch church of the parish of Attenkirchen.
