Hiddingsen is a district of Soest in Westphalia . It is on the hairline south of the BAB 44 . Neighboring about 1 km to the north are the main town of Soest, to the east of the Soest district of Müllingsen , to the south of the Soest district of Lendringsen , to the west of Ruploh , the latter has a joint mayor with Hiddingsen .
history
Hiddingsen was first mentioned in 1072, then as Hiddinchusen . The usual ending '"-ingsen" for the area around Soest is an abbreviation of "-inghausen" or the corresponding predecessor words. Hiddingsen has been part of the parish of St. Petri since the 12th century .
On July 1, 1969, Hiddingsen was incorporated into the city of Soest by the Soest / Beckum law .
