Hildrizhausen is a protected landscape area (protected area number 1.15.081) in the Boeblingen district .
Location and description
The protected area was created by ordinance of the District Office Böblingen of June 16, 1988. When this ordinance came into force, the ordinance of the District Office Böblingen of October 10, 1974 on landscape protection areas and the ordinance on the Schönbuch landscape protection area of December 1, 1961 for the Hildrizhausen district ceased to be in force .
The landscape protection area completely encloses the community of Hildrizhausen in the north, west and south. The area belongs to the natural area 104- Schönbuch and Glemswald within the natural spatial main unit 10- Swabian Keuper-Lias-Land . Parts of the area are in FFH area no. 7420-341 Schönbuch , in the bird sanctuary no. 7420-441 Schönbuch and in the Schönbuch nature park .
Protection purpose
According to the Protected Area Ordinance, the main protection purpose is the preservation of the landscape-defining orchards with adjacent grassland, the preservation of the near-natural Würmtal and Quinzestalaue as a meadow landscape, including securing the landscape-significant slopes accompanying the valley and the preservation of the scenic forest edge areas of the northern edge of Schönbuch. These characteristic parts of the landscape are to be secured for recreational use. The area is also to be protected from further urban sprawl.
