geography

course

The Hinterbach arises in the Odenwald north of Oberzent - Olfen , within the fauna and flora habitat Red Water of Olfen on the border between the district of Wald-Michelbach - Affolterbach and Oberzent-Olfen. It initially flows south, its main flow direction, which it essentially maintains until its confluence with the Falkengesäßerbach , through a wet meadow . After crossing under Eichenstrasse , it runs along the eastern outskirts of Olfen and crosses the village. Between Klein Knöschen on the right and Hortel on the left, his path runs through a meadow that is narrowly delimited by woods to the right and left . After moving to the area of Oberzent- Raubach , his meadow area expanded. Its course now leads to the right of the Kleiner Tal and to the left of the Saubuche and a little further south of the Menschenkopf and the Leonhardskopf . After a long way past the Fichtelberg and the Steinberg , it reaches the northern edge of Oberzent- Hinterbach . It passes Hinterbach and finally reaches Oberzent- Finkenbach , where it joins the Falkengesäßerbach to form the Finkenbach .
