Hirschling is a district of the town of Geiselhöring in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen . Until 1978 it formed an independent municipality.

Hirschling is located on the Kleine Laber about two kilometers northeast of Geiselhöring in the Danube-Isar hill country .
history
A Chünrat de Krenceli von Hirschling testified between 1160 and 1190 that the Counts Chunradus and Lintoldus de Playen donated their serfs Perhta to the Mallersdorf monastery. In 1752 Hirschling consisted of 38 properties.
The Hirschling community belonged to the Mallersdorf district court and was assigned to the Straubing district court in 1860 . With the formation of the district offices in 1862, she came to the Mallersdorf district office and finally to the Mallersdorf district . As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , it was incorporated into the town of Geiselhöring on May 1, 1978.
