The house Hohe Straße 14 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located in the urban area west of the Quedlinburg market square and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . To the north is the also listed building Hohe Straße 13 , to the south is the building Hohe Straße 15 .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house is entered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a community courtyard. The front building of the courtyard consists of two parts. The northern part was built in the Baroque period around 1760. The half-timbered facade is decorated with a profile plank and ornamental brickwork of the compartments . The south adjoining part of the building was built around 1820 or was renewed during this time. In terms of design, the building is based on the northern part. On the courtyard side there is a two-storey wing that was built in the 18th century.
