The Hohe Grasberg is 1783 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Soiern group in the Karwendel in the Bavarian Alps .
The historical border between the Tölz district court and the Werdenfels county of the Freising bishopric runs over the summit . The border is marked with a rock march at the base of the rocky summit structure . It shows the image of the Freising Mohren and the years 1539 and 1739 as well as the letters P, E and F, which stand for Philip of the Palatinate Episcopus Frisingensis .
The summit can be reached as a lonely mountain tour from Wallgau ( 866 m above sea level ) via the Fischbachalm ( 1402 m above sea level ) or from Vorderriß via the Grasbergalm.
