The Holborner Bach is about one kilometer long orographic left tributary of Steinbaches in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Kaiserslautern in the area of the municipality Otterbach Otter Mountain belong to local community Niederkirchen .

The Holborner creek rises in the Natural Environment Lower volume increase of Nordpfälzer highlands at an altitude of 342 m above sea level. NHN at the northeastern foot of the Elkenknopf ( 426.8 m ). Its source is in the corridor in the lower Sickenthal on the northern edge of the Holbornerhof residential area belonging to the Heimkirchen district of Niederkirchen .
The stream, accompanied by county road 31 , flows north through a strip of farmland and then through grassland. He used to run the Holborn mill there in the Mühlwald corridor . The stream now crosses the K 31, then lined with sparse wood in a strip of grass northwards through a valley on the eastern slope of the Eulenberg ( 396 m ) and finally flows into the corridor In der Bauerndell at the southern tip of the village of Heimkirchen at an altitude of 331 m from the left into the Steinbach coming from the east .

The Holborn Bach has a catchment area of 1.522 km² and drains through the Steinbach, Odenbach , Glan , Nahe and Rhine into the North Sea . The difference in altitude from its source to its mouth is 49 m, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 56.5 ‰ for a run length of 0.867 km.
