Holger Daemgen

Holger Daemgen (born April 21, 1969 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German actor .

Life

Holger Daemgen received his acting training from 1991-1994 at the University of Music and Performing Arts “Mozarteum” in Salzburg. A firm engagement followed from 1994 to 1999 at the Schloßparktheater in Berlin.

He became known to a wider audience in the role of Dr. Achim Kreutzer in the ARD series “In aller Freundes” (1999-2001), as well as senior public prosecutor Dr. Helmut Wetzel in the ZDF series "The Garmisch Cops" (2012-2013).

Holger Daemgen played in numerous film and television productions, including "Stauffenberg", "Tatort", "Polizeiruf 110", "Der Kriminalist" and "Babylon Berlin".

He worked with the directors Jo Baier, Bodo Fürneisen, Dror Zahavi, André Erkau, Filippos Tsitos, Andreas Herzog, Achim von Borries, Hendrik Handloegten and many others.

He has also appeared in international television and cinema productions, including "Anne Frank - The Whole Story" (Director: Robert Dornhelm), "La Rafle - The Children of Paris" (Director: Roselyne Bosch), "Versailles" (Director: Christoph Schrewe), as well as “Pius XII” and “Un Sac de Billes” (both directed by Christian Duguay).

Holger Daemgen lives in Berlin.
